In short
VoA extends once for 30 days (60 total, then you must exit); the C1 visit visa extends twice for 60 days each (180 total) — every round now requiring biometric capture.

Single-entry visit visa (C1)
60 days initial, two 60-day extensions via sponsor. 180 days total for planned long stays.
Entry stamp check: your 30 or 60 days count from the arrival date stamped in your passport — day one is arrival day.
Expiry math: start the extension 7–10 days early. Imigrasi processing takes 3–5 working days after biometrics.

Counting from the wrong day
Day one is arrival day, not the day after. A one-day miscount is a one-day overstay.

Assuming walk-in biometrics
Post-2025 capture needs a filing behind it. Showing up without one buys a queue, not a stamp.

Treating VoA as renewable
VoA cannot convert in-country. Day 60 means exit — plan the visa run before day 50.
